You stop seeing rust stains on your fixtures and in your laundry. The sulfur smell disappears. Your soap lathers the way it should, and your dishes come out of the dishwasher without spots.
Your water heater stops working overtime against scale buildup. Your washing machine, dishwasher, and plumbing last longer because they’re not fighting minerals and sediment every day. You’re not buying bottled water anymore because what comes out of your tap actually tastes clean.
A whole house water filter treats water at the point where it enters your home. That means every shower, every load of laundry, every glass of water gets filtered. Your skin and hair aren’t being dried out by chlorine. Your appliances aren’t being corroded by iron. Your family isn’t drinking whatever made it through the municipal treatment plant.
We have an A rating with the Better Business Bureau and a 5-star rating with zero complaints. We’re members of the National Water Quality Association. We’ve been solving hard water, iron, and sulfur problems for Florida families since the 1970s.
Shady sits in an area where groundwater tends to be hard and high in iron. You’ve probably noticed orange staining, that rotten egg smell, or scale on your fixtures. These aren’t cosmetic issues. They’re signs that your water is wearing down your plumbing and appliances while affecting your family’s health and comfort.
We don’t do plumbing or water heaters. We focus entirely on water treatment. That’s what we know, and that’s what we do well. We also offer a $500 discount for military members and first responders, and we’re proud supporters of the Tunnels to Towers Foundation.
We start with a free in-home water analysis. We test your water to see exactly what’s in it—iron levels, hardness, sulfur, chlorine, pH, and other contaminants. This tells us what kind of system you actually need, because one size doesn’t fit all.
Based on your water test and your household’s water usage, we design a custom system. If you have high iron, we’ll recommend our Iron Clear filter. If sulfur is the issue, Sulfur Clear handles that. For hard water, a water softener combination might make sense. Multi-stage sediment filtration removes particles before they reach your fixtures. Whole home carbon filters take care of chlorine and taste issues.
Installation happens at your main water line, before water reaches any taps or appliances. The system uses filter media backwashing to clean itself, so it stays effective without constant maintenance. Most systems use no electricity and waste no water. Once it’s in, you’ll notice the difference immediately—clearer water, no odors, no staining, and appliances that run more efficiently.
Ready to get started?
You get a system that’s built specifically for your water and your home. We’re not selling you a generic box. We’re installing a point-of-entry system that addresses the exact contaminants in Shady’s groundwater—iron, sulfur, hard minerals, chlorine, and sediment.
The system includes professional installation, so it’s done right the first time. We handle everything from the main line connection to system setup and testing. You also get ongoing service. We can maintain any brand of water treatment equipment, not just what we sell. If something needs attention, we respond fast.
Florida’s water is different from water in other states. High humidity, limestone aquifers, and coastal proximity all affect what ends up in your tap. In Shady, iron and hardness are common problems. So is sulfur. Municipal chlorine levels can be high. A whole house water filter handles all of it at once, so you’re not dealing with separate filters for drinking water, shower water, and appliance water. It’s one system that protects your entire home and raises your property value if you ever sell.
If you’re seeing rust-colored stains on sinks, tubs, or laundry, that’s iron. If your water smells like rotten eggs, that’s hydrogen sulfide from sulfur bacteria. If your soap doesn’t lather well, your dishes have spots, or you’re constantly scrubbing white buildup off faucets, that’s hard water.
These are the most common signs in Shady and surrounding areas. You might also notice that your water tastes or smells like chlorine, or that your skin and hair feel dry after showering. All of these point to contaminants that a whole house system can remove.
The only way to know for sure what’s in your water is to test it. We offer free in-home water analysis. We’ll test for iron, hardness, sulfur, chlorine, pH, and other contaminants, then show you exactly what you’re dealing with and what kind of system will fix it.
A water softener removes hardness—calcium and magnesium—that causes scale buildup. It doesn’t filter out iron, sulfur, chlorine, or sediment. A whole house water filter can include a softener, but it also handles other contaminants depending on what’s in your water.
If you only have hard water, a softener might be enough. But most homes in Shady deal with multiple issues. You might have hard water and iron. Or hard water and sulfur. Or all three plus chlorine from the municipal supply.
That’s why we test first. If your water has iron, we’ll add an Iron Clear filter. If it has sulfur, we’ll include Sulfur Clear. If chlorine taste is a problem, we’ll use whole home carbon filters. The system gets built around what your water actually needs, not a one-size-fits-all approach.
It depends on what’s in your water and how much water your household uses. A basic system starts around a few thousand dollars. A more complex setup with multi-stage sediment filtration, iron removal, sulfur treatment, and a water softener combination will cost more.
We don’t give quotes over the phone because every home is different. Water chemistry varies from street to street. Your household size, daily water usage, and specific contaminants all affect what kind of system you need and what it will cost.
What we can tell you is that a whole house system pays for itself over time. You’ll extend the life of your water heater, dishwasher, and washing machine. You’ll stop buying bottled water. You’ll use less soap and detergent because soft water lathers better. And you’ll avoid the cost of replacing corroded pipes or appliances that failed early because of bad water. We also offer financing and a $500 discount for military and first responders.
Most systems we install use filter media backwashing, which means they clean themselves. You’re not changing cartridges every month. The media inside the tank gets backwashed periodically to flush out trapped contaminants, and it keeps working.
Carbon filters and sediment filters may need media replacement every few years depending on your water quality and usage. Softeners need salt added regularly if you have one as part of your system. Iron and sulfur filters are low-maintenance but should be checked annually to make sure they’re operating efficiently.
We service all makes and models, not just systems we sell. If you’re in Shady and your current system isn’t performing the way it should, we can diagnose it and get it running right. Fast, reliable service is part of what separates us from national companies that sell systems but don’t stand behind them.
Yes. Whole home carbon filters are specifically designed to remove chlorine, along with the taste and odor it causes. Municipal water treatment plants in the area add chlorine as a disinfectant, which is necessary for safety, but it leaves an unpleasant taste and smell that most people don’t want in their drinking water or showers.
Carbon filtration also improves the overall taste of your water by removing organic compounds and other chemicals that affect flavor. If you’ve been buying bottled water because your tap water tastes off, a carbon filter solves that problem at every faucet in your home.
The difference is immediate. Your water will taste clean. Your coffee and tea will taste better. You won’t smell chlorine when you turn on the shower. And because it’s a whole house system, you’re not just filtering one tap—you’re filtering everything.
