No more chlorine smell when you shower. No more scale buildup choking your water heater or coating your faucets. Your appliances last longer because they’re not constantly fighting mineral deposits and oxidation damage.
You stop buying bottled water because what comes out of your tap tastes clean. Your skin doesn’t feel tight after washing. Your clothes don’t fade as fast in the wash.
A point-of-entry system treats water the moment it enters your home. That means every outlet—kitchen sink, bathroom, washing machine, outdoor hose—gets filtered water. You’re not just fixing one problem at one faucet. You’re upgrading your entire water supply.
We have over 50 years of combined experience treating water across Central and North Florida. We’re members of the National Water Quality Association, which means we follow industry standards that most companies skip.
We’re not a national franchise that disappears after installation. We service what we sell, and we service every major brand if you already have a system that’s been neglected. Our BBB rating is A with five stars and zero complaints—not because we’re perfect, but because we show up when something needs attention.
Santos sits in Lake County, where hard water and chlorine levels create real problems for homeowners. We’ve been handling those problems locally for years, and we know what works in this area.
We start with a free water analysis at your home. Not a sales pitch disguised as a test—an actual look at what’s in your water and what’s causing the issues you’re dealing with. Hardness, chlorine, iron, sulfur, pH, contaminants. We test for all of it.
Once we know what we’re working with, we design a system based on your water usage and your family’s needs. That might mean multi-stage sediment filtration, whole home carbon filters, a water softener combination, or UV purification if bacteria is a concern. We don’t sell you the same system we sold your neighbor—we build what your water requires.
Installation typically takes a few hours. We install the system at your main water line—the point of entry—so it treats everything before it splits off to your fixtures. After it’s in, we walk you through how it works, what maintenance looks like, and how to reach us if anything comes up. Then we test the water again to confirm it’s where it should be.

A complete whole house water filter typically includes several filtration stages. You’ll get a sediment pre-filter that catches dirt, rust, and debris before it clogs the rest of the system. Then activated carbon and KDF media to remove chlorine, VOCs, and heavy metals that affect taste and safety.
If you’re dealing with hard water—and most Santos homeowners are—you’ll likely need a softener or a salt-free conditioner, depending on your preference and your water chemistry. We also offer UV purification stages for homes on well water or anyone concerned about bacteria and microorganisms. Florida’s reclaimed water practices mean contaminants like pharmaceuticals don’t always get filtered out at the municipal level, so a UV stage adds a layer of protection most people don’t think about until they learn what’s actually in treated wastewater.
We also handle filter media backwashing systems that regenerate automatically, so you’re not constantly replacing cartridges. Maintenance is straightforward, and we’re available to service everything we install. If your system needs attention in two years, we’ll be here. That’s not something you get with every company.
If your water smells like chlorine, leaves white buildup on faucets, stains your sinks, or tastes off, you’re dealing with issues a whole house filter can fix. Those are the obvious signs.
The less obvious ones: your water heater failed early, your washing machine has scale buildup, or your clothes are fading faster than they should. That’s oxidation and mineral damage, and it’s costing you more in replacements than a filtration system would.
Lake County water tends to be hard, and municipal treatment adds chlorine to meet safety standards. Both create long-term problems for your plumbing and appliances. A water test will tell you exactly what you’re working with, and we do those for free. If your water’s fine, we’ll tell you. If it’s not, we’ll show you what’s in it and what it’s doing to your home.
A water softener removes hardness—the calcium and magnesium that cause scale buildup. It does that job well, but it doesn’t remove chlorine, VOCs, or other contaminants that affect taste and safety.
A whole house filter removes sediment, chemicals, and organic compounds, but it doesn’t address hardness. If you only install a filter, you’ll still get scale. If you only install a softener, your water might still smell or taste like chlorine.
Most Santos homes need both, which is why we often install a combination system. You can also use a salt-free conditioner if you want to prevent scale without adding sodium to your water. It works differently than a traditional softener—it doesn’t remove hardness, but it changes the structure so minerals don’t stick to your pipes. We’ll recommend what makes sense based on your water test and your priorities.
Depends on the system and your water quality. Sediment pre-filters usually need replacing every three to six months if your water is dirty. Carbon filters last longer—typically six months to a year.
If you have a backwashing system, it handles its own maintenance by flushing out trapped particles automatically. You’ll still want an annual checkup to make sure everything’s cycling correctly and your media isn’t exhausted.
We service all the systems we install, and we’ll service other brands too if you bought from someone who’s no longer around. A lot of homeowners in Santos have systems that were installed and then abandoned when the company stopped responding. We’ve built a reputation on actually showing up, so if you need service, we’ll get it done. Maintenance isn’t complicated, but it’s not optional if you want the system to keep working the way it should.
A standard carbon filter won’t kill bacteria. For that, you need a UV purification stage, which uses ultraviolet light to neutralize bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms in the water.
If you’re on well water in Santos, a UV stage is worth considering. Wells can be affected by surface runoff, septic systems, or agricultural activity in the area, and bacteria can get into the water without you knowing it until someone gets sick.
UV systems are also useful for homes on city water if you’re concerned about what municipal treatment misses. Florida treats millions of gallons of reclaimed wastewater every day, and while it meets EPA standards, it doesn’t remove everything—pharmaceuticals, hormones, and other trace contaminants can still be present. A UV stage adds a level of protection that standard filtration doesn’t cover. We include it in systems where it makes sense, and we’ll explain whether your water test suggests you need it.
It depends on what your water needs and what kind of system you’re installing. A basic sediment and carbon filter setup costs less than a multi-stage system with UV purification and a water softener combination.
We don’t give cookie-cutter quotes because every home’s water is different. What works for someone with city water and moderate hardness won’t work for someone on a well with high iron and sulfur. We test your water first, then design a system that actually solves your specific problems.
We’re not the cheapest option in Santos, and that’s intentional. You’re paying for a system that’s built to last, installed correctly, and backed by a company that will still be here when you need service. Cheaper systems fail faster, and the companies that install them often don’t come back when something breaks. We’ve seen it happen enough times that we’d rather do it right the first time. If you want a number before we’ve tested your water, we can give you a range, but the real answer comes after we know what we’re working with.
