If your water smells like rotten eggs, leaves orange stains on everything it touches, or makes you second-guess giving it to your kids, that’s not something you have to live with. That’s hydrogen sulfide gas, iron oxidation, and potentially harmful bacteria—all common in New Berlin well water because of Florida’s limestone aquifer and warm climate.
A properly designed well water filtration system removes those contaminants at the source. That means no more scrubbing rust stains off your toilets and sinks every week. No more embarrassment when guests use your bathroom. No more replacing appliances years earlier than you should because iron and minerals have destroyed your water heater or washing machine from the inside out.
Your water becomes clear, odorless, and safe. Your fixtures stay clean. Your appliances last longer. And when you turn on the tap, you’re not wondering what’s actually in the glass.
We’ve been solving well water problems across Central Florida for over 50 years. We’re A-rated by the Better Business Bureau with a 5-star rating and zero complaints, and we’re members of the National Water Quality Association—which means we’re held to actual standards, not just making claims.
We don’t do plumbing or water heaters. We do water treatment, and we do it right. Every system we install is custom-designed based on your specific water test results and your household’s actual usage. We’re not selling you an off-the-shelf box and disappearing.
New Berlin homeowners deal with the same water issues most of Central Florida faces—iron, sulfur, and bacteria from the aquifer. We’ve treated thousands of wells in this area, and we know exactly what works and what doesn’t. We also service what we sell, which apparently isn’t a given in this industry anymore.
First, we test your water. Not a basic hardness test—a full analysis that tells us exactly what’s in your well and at what levels. Iron, sulfur, bacteria, pH, hardness, TDS—we need the real numbers to design a system that actually works for your water.
Once we know what we’re dealing with, we design a treatment system specific to your situation. If you’ve got iron bacteria, that’s a different approach than clear water iron. If you’ve got hydrogen sulfide creating that sulfur smell, we’re likely using air injection oxidation or hydrogen peroxide injection depending on your levels and preferences. If bacterial contamination is the issue, we’re addressing disinfection as part of the system.
Then we install it. Whole-house systems get installed at your point of entry so every faucet, shower, toilet, and appliance gets treated water. Installation typically takes a day, and we walk you through how the system works and what basic maintenance looks like.
After that, we’re available for service. Filters need changing, media needs replacing eventually, and if something stops working right, we come out and fix it. That’s part of why people choose us—we’ll be here in five years when you need us.

Our well water filtration systems handle the most common problems New Berlin homeowners face. Iron removal systems eliminate both clear water iron and the more stubborn bacterial iron that damages pipes and equipment. These systems use air injection oxidation or catalytic filtration media to convert dissolved iron into particles that get filtered out before the water enters your home.
For hydrogen sulfide treatment, we use either air injection oxidation systems or hydrogen peroxide injection depending on your sulfur levels and water chemistry. Both methods eliminate that rotten egg smell completely—not just mask it.
If your well has tested positive for bacteria like E. coli or coliform, or if iron bacteria is present, we integrate disinfection into your treatment system. This typically involves UV sterilization or chemical injection to kill bacteria before it reaches your taps.
Every system is whole-house, meaning it treats all the water coming into your home. You’re not just filtering drinking water—you’re protecting your appliances, your plumbing, your fixtures, and your family. And because we’re local and we service what we install, you’re not stuck with a system and no support when something needs attention.
We also offer a $500 discount for military members and first responders, because that matters to us.
The most obvious signs are smell, staining, and visible discoloration. If your water smells like rotten eggs, that’s hydrogen sulfide gas—common in Florida wells and completely fixable with the right treatment system. If you’re seeing orange or reddish-brown stains on your sinks, toilets, tubs, or laundry, that’s iron oxidation. Even if your water looks clear coming out of the tap, it can oxidize quickly and leave rust-colored stains everywhere.
Beyond what you can see and smell, there are health concerns. If you’ve never had your well water tested, you don’t actually know if bacteria like E. coli or coliform are present. About 10% of wells in Florida have iron bacteria, which won’t necessarily make you sick but will damage your plumbing, clog your pipes, and destroy water treatment equipment if left untreated.
The only way to know for sure what’s in your water is to test it. We offer free water analysis, and it covers all the major contaminants—iron, sulfur, bacteria, hardness, pH, and total dissolved solids. Once we have those numbers, we can tell you exactly what you’re dealing with and what type of filtration system will actually solve the problem.
Water softeners remove hardness—calcium and magnesium—which cause scale buildup and make it harder to get soap to lather. They don’t remove iron, sulfur, or bacteria. If your main problem is rust stains and you install a water softener thinking it’ll fix that, you’re going to be disappointed.
Iron removal systems are specifically designed to oxidize and filter out dissolved iron before it can turn into rust. Some use air injection oxidation, where oxygen is added to the water to convert dissolved iron into solid particles that get trapped in a filter. Others use catalytic media that does the same thing without injecting air. Either way, the iron gets removed before it reaches your fixtures and appliances.
Now, a lot of New Berlin homes have both hard water and iron problems, which means you might need both a softener and an iron removal system—or a combination unit that handles both. That’s why testing your water first matters. We’re not going to sell you a softener if iron is your main issue, and we’re not going to sell you an iron filter if hardness is destroying your water heater. We design the system based on what’s actually in your water.
The lifespan depends on the type of system and how well it’s maintained, but most whole-house filtration systems last between 10 and 20 years if they’re serviced properly. The tank and control valve are built to last decades. What needs periodic replacement is the media inside the tank—that’s the material that actually does the filtering and treating.
For iron removal systems using catalytic media, you’re typically looking at media replacement every 5 to 7 years depending on your iron levels and water usage. Air injection oxidation systems have similar maintenance schedules. If you have a UV disinfection system as part of your setup, the UV bulb needs replacing annually, and the quartz sleeve should be cleaned regularly.
The key is actually doing the maintenance. A lot of people install a system and forget about it until it stops working, and by then you’ve got damage that could have been avoided. We service all the systems we install, and we can also service systems installed by other companies if you’ve moved into a home that already has one. Regular filter changes, media replacement when it’s due, and occasional system checks will keep everything running the way it should for years.
Yes, but it has to be the right type of system. That rotten egg smell is hydrogen sulfide gas, and it’s one of the most common complaints we hear from New Berlin homeowners with well water. Florida’s limestone aquifer naturally contains sulfur compounds, and our warm climate makes the problem worse.
The most effective treatment methods are air injection oxidation and hydrogen peroxide injection. Air injection oxidation works by introducing oxygen into the water, which converts hydrogen sulfide gas into sulfur particles that can be filtered out. It’s effective for moderate sulfur levels and also handles iron at the same time, which is useful since a lot of wells have both problems.
Hydrogen peroxide injection is typically used for higher sulfur concentrations or when you want a more aggressive treatment approach. Peroxide is a strong oxidizer that neutralizes hydrogen sulfide on contact, and it also disinfects the water by killing bacteria. The downside is it requires periodic refilling of the peroxide tank, so there’s a bit more maintenance involved.
Carbon filters can remove some sulfur smell, but they’re usually not enough on their own if you have significant hydrogen sulfide levels. We test your water first to see how much sulfur you’re actually dealing with, and then recommend the treatment method that makes sense for your situation and budget.
It depends entirely on what your water needs. A basic iron removal system for a smaller household might run a few thousand dollars. A more complex whole-house system that handles iron, sulfur, bacteria, and hardness for a larger home with higher water usage can cost significantly more. Custom systems with multiple treatment stages or advanced disinfection will be on the higher end.
We’re not the cheapest option, and that’s intentional. We use quality components, we design systems based on actual water testing instead of guessing, and we’ll be around to service what we install. Cheaper systems often fail within a few years, or they’re undersized for your household and never work properly to begin with. Then you’re either living with bad water or paying for a second system.
What we can tell you is that a properly installed well water filtration system pays for itself over time. You’re not replacing appliances early because of iron damage. You’re not spending money on bottled water or cleaning products to scrub rust stains. You’re not dealing with plumbing repairs caused by bacterial buildup or corrosion. And if you ever sell your home, a whole-house water treatment system is a valued feature that buyers care about.
We offer free water analysis and free estimates, so you’ll know exactly what your water needs and what it’ll cost before you make any decisions. We also offer a $500 discount for military and first responders.
