Your toilets and sinks stop collecting orange rings. Laundry comes out actually clean instead of dingy and rust-spotted. Your dishwasher stops leaving residue on glasses.
Your appliances last longer because they’re not fighting mineral buildup every day. Water heaters, washing machines, and dishwashers can run the way they’re supposed to without scale clogging lines and burning out heating elements years early.
You stop second-guessing whether the water is safe. No more rotten egg smell when someone turns on the shower. No more wondering if that bacteria test from three years ago is still accurate. The water just works, and you stop thinking about it.
We’ve been handling well water issues across North and Central Florida since the 1970s. We’re members of the National Water Quality Association and hold an A-rating with the BBB with zero complaints.
Flagler Model Land sits in an area where well water commonly carries iron, sulfur, and bacterial contamination. We’ve tested and treated hundreds of wells in this region. We know what you’re dealing with because we’ve seen it before.
We’re not a national franchise that shows up, sells you a system, and disappears. We service what we install, and we’ll service systems other companies put in and abandoned.
We start with a free water analysis at your home. Not a basic hardness test—a full breakdown of what’s actually in your well water. Iron levels, sulfur content, bacteria presence, pH, mineral concentration.
Once we know what we’re dealing with, we design a system for your specific contamination profile and household water usage. A home with high iron and bacterial iron needs a different setup than a home with sulfur and hardness issues. One size doesn’t fit all.
Installation typically takes a day. We set up the system, test it, walk you through how it operates, and make sure everything’s dialed in before we leave. You’ll know how to check salt levels if you have a softener, when to expect filter changes, and how to reach us if something seems off.
After installation, we’re available for service calls, filter replacements, and system adjustments. If your water changes seasonally or you notice something different, we come back out and recalibrate.

Iron removal systems handle rust stains and the orange buildup that clogs aerators and ruins fixtures. Our Iron Clear systems use air injection oxidation to convert dissolved iron into particles that get filtered out before water reaches your taps. If you’ve got bacterial iron, we add disinfection to kill the bacteria feeding on iron in your lines.
Hydrogen sulfide treatment eliminates the rotten egg smell that makes your water unbearable. Sulfur Clear filters use oxidation and filtration to remove sulfur compounds. Some systems use hydrogen peroxide injection for more severe contamination.
Well water bacteria disinfection uses UV light to kill E.coli and other harmful organisms. Our Purelight system treats water as it flows through, eliminating bacteria without adding chemicals. For homes in Flagler Model Land with shallow wells or wells near septic systems, this is often necessary.
Hard water systems remove calcium and magnesium that destroy appliances and leave soap scum everywhere. We also offer salt-free options that prevent scale buildup without adding sodium to your water.
Whole-house systems typically range from $2,000 to $8,000 depending on what you’re removing and how much water your household uses. A basic water softener runs less than a system that handles iron, sulfur, and bacteria together.
The cost breaks down into equipment, installation, and ongoing maintenance. Equipment varies by system type—air injection oxidation units, UV disinfection systems, and hydrogen peroxide injection setups all have different price points. Installation depends on how much plumbing work is needed and where the system gets mounted.
Maintenance costs are usually minimal. Salt for softeners runs $5-10 per month. UV bulbs need replacement annually and cost around $100-150. Filter cartridges depend on your water quality and usage but generally need changing every 6-12 months.
We offer free water testing and can give you an exact quote based on what’s in your well and what your household needs. We also provide a $500 discount for military members and first responders.
It depends entirely on what’s contaminating your water. You can’t pick a system without testing your water first.
If you’ve got iron staining your fixtures and laundry, you need an iron removal system with air injection oxidation or hydrogen peroxide injection. If the iron is bacterial, you’ll also need disinfection. If your water smells like rotten eggs, that’s hydrogen sulfide and requires a sulfur treatment system. If bacteria showed up in a well test, UV disinfection handles that. Hard water needs a softener or salt-free conditioner.
Many Flagler Model Land homes deal with multiple issues—iron and hardness, or sulfur and bacteria. In those cases, you need a multi-stage system that addresses each contaminant in the right order. We design systems based on your specific water analysis, not a generic template.
The free water test tells us exactly what you’re dealing with. From there, we recommend the most effective and cost-efficient setup for your situation.
Most installations take 4-8 hours, completed in one day. You’ll have treated water by the evening.
The timeline depends on system complexity and your plumbing setup. A single water softener installs faster than a multi-stage system with iron removal, sulfur treatment, and UV disinfection. If we need to add dedicated electrical for UV systems or reconfigure plumbing to accommodate multiple tanks, that adds time.
We typically arrive in the morning, shut off your water supply, install the system, connect it to your main line, test everything, and walk you through operation before we leave. You’ll be without water for a few hours during installation, so plan accordingly.
After installation, the system needs a brief break-in period where we flush lines and verify water quality. We test at multiple taps to make sure treated water is reaching your entire house and contamination is fully removed.
Not much. Most systems need attention a few times per year, and the tasks are straightforward.
Water softeners need salt refills every 4-8 weeks depending on usage and hardness levels. You pour bags of salt into the brine tank—takes five minutes. UV systems need annual bulb replacements, which we can handle during a service visit or walk you through if you want to do it yourself.
Iron and sulfur filters require backwashing, but most systems do this automatically on a timer. You don’t touch anything. Sediment filters need cartridge changes every 6-12 months depending on how much iron or sediment your well produces. We can set up a maintenance schedule and send reminders when service is due.
The biggest maintenance issue is neglect. Systems that don’t get basic attention—salt running out, filters not getting changed—stop working effectively. Stay on top of simple tasks and your system will run for years without problems. We’re available for service calls if something seems off or you’re not sure how to handle maintenance.
Yes, if the system is properly sized and designed for your iron levels. Iron removal systems eliminate both the metallic smell and the rust staining that ruins fixtures and laundry.
Iron exists in well water in two forms: dissolved (ferrous) and oxidized (ferric). Dissolved iron is invisible but turns orange when exposed to air, causing stains. Our systems use air injection oxidation or hydrogen peroxide injection to convert dissolved iron into particles, then filter those particles out before water enters your home.
Bacterial iron is different—it’s iron-feeding bacteria that create slimy buildup in pipes and tanks. That requires disinfection in addition to filtration. If your well has bacterial iron, we design the system to kill bacteria and remove iron simultaneously.
After installation, staining stops immediately. Existing stains on fixtures can be cleaned off. Your laundry will stop coming out discolored. Water from every tap will run clear. The metallic taste and smell disappear because the iron is removed before it reaches your faucets.
