You stop worrying every time your kids drink from the tap. You stop seeing that white buildup on your faucets and showerheads. Your appliances last longer because they’re not fighting hard water and sediment every single day.
That’s what happens when you install a water filtration system that’s actually designed for your home. Not some one-size-fits-all box from a big-box store. A system built around what’s in your water right now, in Southside, based on real testing.
Your drinking water tastes better. Your skin doesn’t feel dry after every shower. Your coffee maker stops scaling up. And you’re not spending money on bottled water or replacing water heaters years before you should.
Jacksonville water has issues. Radium, chlorate, strontium, and disinfection byproducts show up in testing across Duval County. You can’t see them, but they’re there. A proper whole-house water filtration system handles all of it before it ever reaches your glass or your shower.
We have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and zero complaints. That doesn’t happen by accident. It happens because we show up, do the work right, and service what we sell.
We’re members of the National Water Quality Association. We’ve been solving hard water and contamination problems in Florida for over 50 years. We know what’s in the aquifer, what’s in the pipes, and what actually works in homes like yours.
Southside families deal with the same water issues as the rest of Jacksonville: hard water, iron staining, chlorine taste, and contaminants that testing keeps finding. We handle it all with reverse osmosis systems, UV water purification, activated carbon filtration, and salt-free conditioning that doesn’t waste water or run up your electric bill.
First, we test your water. Not a guess. Not a generic report from the city. We test what’s coming out of your tap so we know exactly what we’re dealing with.
Then we design a system around your results and your household. If you’ve got iron, we address it. If you’ve got hardness, we handle it without salt. If you’ve got bacteria or contaminants, we add UV purification or reverse osmosis where it makes sense.
Installation happens in your home, usually in a few hours. We connect the system to your main water line so every faucet, every shower, every appliance gets filtered water. You don’t have to think about it after that.
We don’t disappear after the install. If something needs adjusting or servicing down the road, we’re the ones who come back. No subcontractors. No runaround. We installed it, we service it.

You get a custom water analysis before anything gets installed. That tells us what’s in your water and what needs to be filtered out. From there, we build a system that fits your home and your usage.
Whole-house systems filter everything. That means your drinking water, your shower water, your washing machine, your dishwasher. Activated carbon filtration removes chlorine, bad taste, and odor. Reverse osmosis systems at the kitchen sink take out dissolved solids, heavy metals, and contaminants that carbon can’t catch. UV water purification kills bacteria and organisms without chemicals.
If you’ve got hard water, we install salt-free conditioning that prevents scale without the ongoing cost of buying salt every month. It keeps the healthy minerals in your water while protecting your pipes and appliances. No electricity, no waste, no maintenance for years.
Southside homes near the St. Johns River or on well water deal with unique contamination risks. Florida’s porous limestone and high water table mean groundwater picks up everything. We account for that when we design your system. And with new state regulations coming in 2026 requiring well testing, now’s the time to know what you’re drinking.
It depends on what you install. A basic carbon filter removes chlorine, bad taste, and some chemicals. That’s fine for city water that’s already treated but still tastes off.
If you want to remove heavy metals, fluoride, nitrates, or dissolved solids, you need reverse osmosis. That’s a multi-stage system, usually installed under the kitchen sink, that pushes water through a membrane to catch what carbon can’t. It’s the most thorough option for drinking water.
For bacteria, viruses, or well water concerns, UV purification is the move. It uses ultraviolet light to kill organisms without adding anything to your water. If you’re in Southside and you’re on a well, this is worth considering, especially with Florida’s groundwater contamination issues.
Most whole-house installs take a few hours. We’re connecting the system to your main water line, so it filters everything before it reaches your taps. The timeline depends on your plumbing setup and whether we’re adding multiple stages like UV or softening.
Under-sink filter installation for reverse osmosis is faster, usually an hour or two. We mount the system under your kitchen sink and connect it to a dedicated faucet. You get filtered water at that tap, and your regular faucet stays on the main line.
We don’t rush it. We test everything after installation to make sure it’s working right and that your water pressure is where it should be. You’ll know how to change filters, how often to do it, and what to watch for.
City water is treated, but that doesn’t mean it’s clean by the time it hits your glass. Jacksonville’s water has tested positive for radium, chlorate, strontium, and disinfection byproducts. Those are above health guidelines in some areas.
Chlorine is added to kill bacteria, but it makes your water taste like a pool and dries out your skin. Old pipes between the treatment plant and your home can add lead, copper, or sediment. A whole-house water filtration system removes all of that before you drink it or shower in it.
If you’ve got kids, if you’re pregnant, or if anyone in your home has a compromised immune system, filtered water isn’t optional. It’s protection. And even if you’re healthy, why drink something you wouldn’t swim in?
A water softener removes hardness, which is calcium and magnesium. That’s what causes scale on your fixtures, spots on your dishes, and buildup in your water heater. Traditional softeners use salt and an ion exchange process. They work, but they add sodium to your water and require ongoing maintenance.
A water filtration system removes contaminants like chlorine, heavy metals, sediment, and chemicals. It improves taste, removes odor, and protects your health. It doesn’t address hardness unless you add a conditioning stage.
We use salt-free water conditioning for hardness. It doesn’t remove the minerals, but it changes their structure so they don’t stick to your pipes. You keep the healthy minerals, you avoid the scale, and you don’t have to buy salt or use electricity. For Southside homes, we often combine filtration and conditioning into one system so you’re covered on both fronts.
It depends on the system and your water quality. Carbon filters typically last six months to a year. If your water has a lot of sediment or chlorine, you’ll replace them more often. Reverse osmosis membranes last two to three years if you’re changing the pre-filters on schedule.
UV bulbs need replacing once a year. They lose effectiveness over time even if they still look like they’re working. Whole-house systems with multiple stages will have different replacement schedules for each component.
We give you a maintenance schedule when we install your system. Most homeowners can swap filters themselves. If you’d rather have us handle it, we offer service plans. Either way, you’re not guessing when something needs changing.
