Your dishes stop getting spotted. Your skin doesn’t feel tight after showers. Your coffee tastes better because the chlorine is gone.
These aren’t small things when you’re dealing with them every single day. Hard water in Ponte Vedra causes scale buildup that clogs pipes, wears out water heaters early, and leaves that white film on everything. A whole-house water filtration system removes the minerals causing the problem before water reaches any faucet.
You’ll also stop worrying about what’s actually in your water. Municipal treatment handles a lot, but contaminants like lead, chloramines, and volatile organic compounds still make it through. Reverse osmosis systems and activated carbon filtration handle what the city can’t. If you’ve got well water, the concerns are different but just as real—iron, sulfur, bacteria.
The outcome is straightforward. You turn on any tap in your house and trust what comes out. Your appliances last longer. Your plumbing stays clear. You’re not buying bottled water anymore.
We’ve been fixing water problems across Florida since the 1970s. We’re A-rated by the Better Business Bureau with a 5-star rating and zero complaints. We’re also members of the National Water Quality Association, which means we follow actual standards, not just sales pitches.
Ponte Vedra has specific water issues. The hardness levels here affect plumbing systems differently than they do in other parts of Florida. St. Johns County’s municipal water has been flagged for contaminants that most homeowners don’t even know to look for. We test your water first, then design a system based on what’s actually in it—not what we want to sell you.
We’re not a national franchise that disappears after installation. We service what we install, and we service systems other companies sold and abandoned. That matters when something needs attention five years from now.
We start with a free water analysis at your home. This isn’t a sales gimmick—we actually test your water to see what’s in it. Hardness, contaminants, pH levels, iron, sulfur. You can’t fix what you don’t measure.
Once we know what we’re dealing with, we’ll walk you through what system makes sense. That might be a whole-house carbon filtration system if chlorine and chemical taste are your main concerns. It might be a water softener if hard water is destroying your appliances. It could be a reverse osmosis system for drinking water quality, or UV purification if bacteria is the issue. Sometimes it’s a combination.
Installation happens on a day that works for you. We’re not subcontracting this out—our team handles it. We connect the system to your main water line so every drop of water entering your house gets treated. Depending on the system, this takes anywhere from a few hours to a full day.
After installation, we test the water again to make sure everything’s working. We’ll show you how the system operates and what basic maintenance looks like. Then we stay available. If something needs servicing, we’re the ones who come back out.
Ready to get started?
Every installation starts with that free water quality testing. You’re not guessing what’s wrong—you’re seeing lab results. From there, you get a system custom-designed for your home’s water usage and the specific problems in your water supply.
We install whole-house filtration systems, under-sink filter installations for targeted drinking water treatment, water softeners that prevent scale buildup, and salt-free treatment options if you want to avoid sodium. UV water purification handles bacteria and microorganisms that chemical treatments miss. Reverse osmosis systems remove the heavy metals, fluoride, and dissolved solids that other filters can’t catch.
In Ponte Vedra, hard water is almost a given. Calcium and magnesium concentrations here are high enough to damage appliances within a few years if you’re not treating it. Our water softeners handle that. But hardness isn’t the only issue—chlorine levels in municipal water can be high, and well water in this area often contains iron and sulfur. We address all of it.
You also get professional installation with no subcontractors, a system that’s certified by third-party testing organizations, and ongoing service for as long as you own the system. We’re also offering a $500 discount for military members and first responders, because that’s who we are.
It depends entirely on what’s in your water right now. That’s why we test it first instead of assuming.
If your main issue is hard water—and in Ponte Vedra, it usually is—you need a water softener or a salt-free conditioner to prevent scale buildup in your pipes and appliances. Hard water won’t hurt you, but it’ll destroy a water heater in half the time it should last. If you’re seeing white residue on faucets and glass, that’s hardness.
If your water smells like chlorine or tastes off, a whole-house activated carbon filtration system removes those chemicals before water reaches any tap. If you’ve got well water with iron or sulfur, you need a system designed specifically for those contaminants. If bacteria or microorganisms are a concern, UV purification kills them without adding chemicals.
Most homes benefit from a combination. A softener for hardness, a carbon filter for taste and odor, and a reverse osmosis system at the kitchen sink for drinking water. We’ll tell you what makes sense after we see your test results.
There’s no one-size-fits-all answer because systems vary based on what you need and the size of your home. A basic whole-house carbon filter starts in one range. A complete system with softening, filtration, and reverse osmosis for drinking water costs more.
What matters more than the upfront cost is what you’re getting. Cheap systems fail early, require constant maintenance, or don’t actually remove the contaminants they claim to. We install systems that are third-party tested and certified, which means they do what they’re supposed to do.
You’re also protecting appliances that cost thousands to replace. Water heaters, dishwashers, washing machines—they all last significantly longer when they’re not dealing with hard water and sediment. You’ll stop buying bottled water, which adds up faster than people realize. And if you’re spending money on repairs for clogged pipes or replacing faucets because of mineral buildup, that ends.
We offer free water testing and free estimates. We’ll tell you exactly what the system costs, what it includes, and what it’ll do. No surprises. And if you’re military or a first responder, we’re taking $500 off.
It depends on the system and what contaminants you’re targeting. Not all filters remove the same things, and anyone who tells you otherwise is overselling.
Activated carbon filters remove chlorine, chloramines, volatile organic compounds, and chemicals that affect taste and odor. They don’t remove dissolved minerals like calcium and magnesium—that’s what water softeners are for. Reverse osmosis systems remove heavy metals, fluoride, nitrates, and a wide range of dissolved solids that other filters miss. UV purification kills bacteria, viruses, and microorganisms without chemicals.
If you want comprehensive treatment, you need multiple stages. That’s why we test first and design systems that address your specific water quality issues. Ponte Vedra’s municipal water has different contamination risks than well water does. St. Johns County water has been flagged for certain contaminants that a basic filter won’t touch.
We’ll show you what’s in your water and explain exactly what each component of the system removes. No guessing. No vague promises. Just clear information about what you’re getting and what it does.
It depends on the type of system, but most need attention once or twice a year. That’s not complicated or expensive—it’s just part of owning the system.
Carbon filters need replacement every 6 to 12 months depending on your water usage and what they’re removing. If your water has high sediment or chlorine levels, filters work harder and need changing more often. Reverse osmosis systems have multiple filters that get replaced on different schedules—some annually, some every few years. Water softeners need salt refills if they’re salt-based, or occasional cleaning if they’re salt-free.
UV purification systems need bulb replacements about once a year. The bulbs lose effectiveness over time even if they still look like they’re working. Whole-house systems also benefit from an annual inspection to make sure everything’s functioning properly and there’s no buildup affecting performance.
We handle all of that. We’ll tell you what maintenance your specific system needs and when. We can set up a service schedule so you don’t have to remember. And unlike some companies that sell systems and disappear, we actually service what we install. We also service systems other companies abandoned, because we’ve been doing this for 50 years and we’re not going anywhere.
You can technically install some under-sink filters yourself if you’re handy and the setup is straightforward. Whole-house systems? You need a professional. There’s too much that can go wrong.
Whole-house water filtration systems tie into your main water line. If the installation isn’t done correctly, you’re looking at leaks, pressure issues, or a system that doesn’t actually treat all the water coming into your home. You also need to know where to install it in relation to your water heater, how to set bypass valves, and how to ensure the system is properly sealed and secured.
There’s also the issue of sizing. If the system isn’t matched to your home’s water flow rate, you’ll end up with low water pressure or a system that can’t keep up with demand. And if you’re installing a water softener, you need to understand drain line requirements and regeneration cycles.
We’ve seen plenty of DIY installations that created more problems than they solved. We’ve also seen systems installed by companies that didn’t know what they were doing. When we install a system, it’s done right the first time. We test the water before and after to confirm it’s working. We make sure everything is up to code. And if something needs adjustment down the road, we’re the ones who come back to handle it.
