You shouldn’t have to wonder what’s in your water every time you fill a glass. Over 90% of Florida’s drinking water comes from groundwater, and our porous limestone lets contaminants seep through easier than almost anywhere else in the country.
A whole house water filtration system handles everything before it reaches your shower, your kitchen sink, or your washing machine. No more rotten egg smell from sulfur. No more orange stains from iron. No more film on your shower doors or weird taste in your coffee.
Your appliances last longer when they’re not fighting hard water buildup. Your skin and hair feel better without chlorine and chemicals. And you stop buying bottled water because what comes out of your tap is cleaner than what you’ve been paying for at the store.
We have an A-rating with the Better Business Bureau and zero complaints. Not one. That doesn’t happen by accident when you’ve been installing water filtration systems across Central Florida for decades.
We’re members of the National Water Quality Association because we follow industry standards that actually matter. We offer a $500 discount to military members and first responders, and we support the Tunnels to Towers Foundation because some things matter more than profit margins.
Kirkman North sits in an area where groundwater contamination is common. Nearly one in four Florida waterways shows contamination from nitrogen, phosphorus, or other chemicals. We’ve seen what that does to home water supplies, and we know exactly how to fix it.
We start with drinking water quality testing. You need to know what’s actually in your water before you can fix it. Florida water varies by neighborhood, and what works two miles away might not be right for your home.
Once we know what we’re dealing with, we recommend a system that matches your water chemistry. Most homes in Kirkman North benefit from multi-stage filtration that combines activated carbon filtration to remove chlorine and chemicals, a sediment filter for particulates, and UV water purification to eliminate bacteria and organisms you can’t see.
Installation typically takes a few hours. We connect the system at your main water line so every faucet, shower, and appliance gets filtered water. If you want an under-sink filter installation for extra purification at your kitchen tap, we add that too. Some homeowners also need reverse osmosis systems for the highest level of purification, especially if they’re on well water.
After installation, you’ll notice the difference immediately. Water tastes better. It smells normal. Your soap actually rinses off. And you’re not wondering what your family is drinking anymore.

Florida water brings specific problems. Hard water is everywhere because of our limestone aquifer. Sulfur creates that rotten egg smell. Iron leaves rust stains on everything. Chlorine levels in municipal water can spike above EPA recommendations. And if you’re on a well, bacteria and contaminants have an easy path into your water supply.
We install whole home water filter systems that handle all of it. Activated carbon removes chlorine, chemicals, and the taste and odor issues that make your water unpleasant. Sediment filtration catches particles and debris. UV water purification kills bacteria and microorganisms without adding chemicals to your water.
For homes with severe hard water, we add water softener installation to protect your appliances and plumbing. Hard water destroys water heaters, clogs pipes, and leaves deposits that cost you thousands in repairs over time. A house water filter system that includes softening eliminates those minerals before they cause damage.
Our systems don’t require salt, electricity, or constant maintenance. You’re not creating more waste or adding to your utility bills. And because we’re local to Central Florida, we know exactly what Kirkman North water does to homes and how to stop it.
If your water smells like sulfur, leaves orange or brown stains, tastes like chlorine, or creates film on your dishes and shower doors, you need filtration. Those are signs of contamination or mineral content that affects your health and damages your home.
But even if your water seems fine, Florida groundwater carries contaminants you can’t taste or smell. The EPA reports that more than 20% of U.S. water systems violate the Safe Drinking Water Act. Pharmaceuticals, pesticides, and bacteria show up in drinking water across Florida because our porous limestone and high water table make contamination easy.
The only way to know for sure is drinking water quality testing. We test your water and show you exactly what’s in it. Then you can decide if you want your family drinking it or if you’d rather have a home water filter system that removes what shouldn’t be there.
A whole house water filter treats every drop of water that enters your home. That means your shower, washing machine, dishwasher, and every faucet gets filtered water. You protect your appliances from hard water damage, your skin and hair from chlorine, and your entire plumbing system from buildup.
An under-sink filter installation only treats water at one tap, usually your kitchen sink. It’s great for extra purification where you drink and cook, and it often includes reverse osmosis systems for the highest level of contaminant removal. But it doesn’t help your shower water or protect your appliances.
Most Kirkman North homeowners get the best results from both. A whole home water filter handles the big issues like hard water, chlorine, and sediment throughout your house. Then an under-sink reverse osmosis system gives you ultra-purified drinking water at your kitchen tap. You get complete protection instead of leaving half your water untreated.
Whole house systems typically range from a few thousand dollars to more depending on your home size, water quality issues, and the level of filtration you need. A basic carbon water filter and sediment system costs less than a multi-stage setup with UV water purification and water softener installation.
But compare that to buying bottled water for years. Most families spend $50 to $100 monthly on bottled water, which adds up to thousands over time. A home water filter system pays for itself, and you’re not creating plastic waste or hauling water from the store.
Maintenance is minimal. Our systems use filters that need changing once or twice a year depending on your water usage and quality. There’s no salt to add, no electricity to run, and no complicated upkeep. We can handle filter changes for you, or you can do it yourself in a few minutes. The UV water filter bulb needs replacing every year or two, but that’s a simple swap that takes no special tools.
Yes. That rotten egg smell comes from hydrogen sulfide gas in your groundwater, and it’s extremely common in Central Florida. Activated carbon filtration removes sulfur and the odor it creates, along with the taste issues that make your water unpleasant to drink.
For homes with high sulfur levels, we sometimes add an oxidizing filter before the carbon stage. This converts the hydrogen sulfide into particles that get trapped in the filtration media. The result is water that smells normal and doesn’t make your whole house smell like sulfur when you run the shower.
Sulfur isn’t just unpleasant. It can corrode your pipes and fixtures over time, and it makes your water taste terrible. A house water filter system that’s designed for Florida water handles sulfur along with the iron, chlorine, and hard water minerals that cause other problems. You fix everything at once instead of dealing with one issue at a time.
City water is treated, but that doesn’t mean it’s perfectly safe by the time it reaches your tap. Pipes can introduce bacteria. Treatment plants sometimes fail to catch everything. And chlorine kills some bacteria but not all contaminants, especially cysts and viruses that are resistant to chemical treatment.
UV water purification adds a final barrier that eliminates 99.99% of bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms without adding chemicals to your water. The UV light destroys their DNA so they can’t reproduce or make you sick. It’s especially important if anyone in your home has a compromised immune system, but it’s smart protection for any family.
For well water, UV is essential. Wells don’t have municipal treatment, and Florida’s groundwater is easily contaminated by septic systems, agricultural runoff, and surface water that seeps through our porous soil. A well water filter should always include UV water purification to ensure you’re not drinking bacteria or organisms that can cause serious illness.
