You stop buying bottled water by the case. Your coffee tastes better. Your skin doesn’t feel tight after a shower.
The white residue on your glassware disappears. Your water heater and appliances last longer because they’re not fighting mineral buildup every day. You’re not dealing with that rotten egg smell anymore, and you’re not wondering what’s in the water your kids are drinking.
A water filtration system handles the problems you can see and the ones you can’t. Hard water, chlorine, iron, sulfur, bacteria, heavy metals, microplastics—they all get filtered out before they reach your glass or your washing machine. You get clean water at every faucet, and you stop thinking about your water quality because it’s handled.
Quality Safe Water of Florida has an A+ Better Business Bureau rating with zero complaints and a 5-star customer rating. We’re members of the National Water Quality Association, which means our work meets third-party certification standards, not just our own.
We’ve been installing water treatment systems in Hyde Grove and throughout Lake County for decades. We know Florida water—the hard water issues, the sulfur problems, the iron staining. We also know that Lake County homeowners deal with water quality concerns that go beyond what you can see or smell, including contaminants from aging infrastructure and agricultural runoff.
We don’t do plumbing or water heaters. We do water treatment, and that’s it. When you call us, you’re getting people who specialize in making your water safe and clean, not a company trying to upsell you on ten different services.
We start with free water testing. Not a sales pitch disguised as testing—actual analysis of what’s in your water so we know what needs to be removed. You can’t design the right system without knowing what you’re dealing with.
Once we know what’s in your water and how much water your household uses, we design a system that fits your specific situation. One size doesn’t fit all. A family of two doesn’t need the same setup as a family of six, and well water has different issues than city water.
Installation happens on a scheduled day that works for you. We’re installing the filtration system at your main water line for whole-house coverage, or under your sink if you’re focused on drinking water quality. You’ll know exactly what we’re doing and how long it takes. After installation, we test the water again to confirm everything’s working the way it should. Then we walk you through basic maintenance—what to watch for and when to call us for service. We handle all the brands we install, and we’re not disappearing after the sale.

Reverse osmosis systems remove up to 99% of contaminants including heavy metals, fluoride, chlorine, and dissolved solids. These go under your sink and give you purified drinking water on demand. They’re the most thorough option for drinking and cooking water.
Activated carbon filtration handles chlorine, bad taste, odors, and organic compounds. Carbon filters are often part of a whole-house system or combined with other technologies for more complete treatment. UV water purification kills bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms without chemicals. If you’re on well water in Hyde Grove or concerned about biological contaminants, UV is non-negotiable.
Whole-house systems treat every drop of water entering your home. You’re protecting your appliances, your plumbing, your skin, and your drinking water all at once. We also install water softeners and iron removal systems, because Lake County has serious hard water and iron issues that damage your home and affect water quality. We offer salt-free options if you want to avoid adding sodium to your water. These systems prevent scale buildup without the ongoing cost and maintenance of traditional softeners.
If your water smells like sulfur or chlorine, leaves orange or white stains on fixtures, tastes off, or makes your skin feel dry after showering, you’ve got water quality issues. Those are the obvious signs.
The less obvious signs are what you can’t see—contaminants like heavy metals, bacteria, microplastics, or agricultural runoff that show up in Florida water supplies. Lake County has known issues with hard water, iron, and sulfur, plus the nutrient pollution that affects much of Florida’s water. If you’re on well water, you’re dealing with whatever’s in the ground, which can include bacteria and minerals that aren’t being treated by a municipal system.
The best way to know for sure is to get your water tested. We do that for free. You’ll see exactly what’s in your water and whether it’s something you want your family drinking or bathing in every day.
An under-sink filter treats the water at one faucet—usually your kitchen sink. It’s designed for drinking and cooking water. If you want purified water for coffee, ice, and meals but you’re okay with untreated water everywhere else, that’s the move.
A whole-house water filtration system treats all the water coming into your home. Every faucet, every shower, every appliance gets filtered water. You’re protecting your water heater and washing machine from hard water damage, your skin and hair from chlorine and minerals, and your drinking water from contaminants—all at once.
Most Hyde Grove homeowners dealing with hard water, sulfur, or iron need whole-house treatment because those problems affect more than just drinking water. They’re damaging your plumbing, staining your sinks and tubs, and shortening the life of your appliances. If your issues are limited to taste and you just want cleaner drinking water, under-sink reverse osmosis handles that.
It depends on the type of system and how much water you’re using. Carbon filters typically need replacement every six to twelve months. Reverse osmosis systems need new filters annually, and the membrane lasts three to five years depending on your water quality and usage.
UV lamps need to be replaced once a year because their effectiveness drops over time, even if the bulb still looks fine. Water softeners need salt refills if they’re salt-based, and periodic resin cleaning. Salt-free systems need less frequent maintenance but still require occasional checks.
We’ll tell you exactly what your system needs when we install it, and we’ll set up a maintenance schedule so you’re not guessing. Most of our customers have us handle it—we come out, replace what needs replacing, and test the water to make sure everything’s still working right. You’re not stuck figuring out which filter is which or whether you’re doing it correctly.
Yes, but you need the right type of system. That rotten egg smell is hydrogen sulfide gas, and it’s common in Florida well water and some areas with older infrastructure. A standard carbon filter won’t handle it.
You need a system designed for sulfur removal—usually a combination of oxidation and filtration, sometimes with activated carbon. For higher concentrations, you might need an air injection system or a chlorine feed system followed by filtration. If you’ve also got iron in your water, which often comes with sulfur, you’ll need a system that addresses both.
We test your water first to see how much sulfur you’re dealing with and whether there are other contaminants involved. Then we install a system that actually handles the problem instead of just masking it. You’ll know within a day or two that it’s working because the smell will be gone.
Under-sink reverse osmosis systems typically start around $300 to $500 for basic models, but quality systems with better filtration and longer-lasting components run $1,000 to $2,500 installed. Whole-house systems vary more widely because they depend on your water issues, your home size, and how much water you use daily.
A basic whole-house carbon filter might cost $1,000 to $2,000 installed. A complete system with water softening, iron and sulfur removal, UV purification, and multi-stage filtration can run $3,000 to $8,000 or more. That sounds like a lot until you factor in how much you’re spending on bottled water, how much damage hard water is doing to your appliances and plumbing, and how long a quality system lasts.
We offer a $500 discount for military personnel and first responders. After we test your water and talk through what you actually need, we’ll give you a clear price with no surprises. You’re not paying for features you don’t need, and you’re not getting upsold on equipment that doesn’t match your situation.
