You’re dealing with scale buildup on your faucets. Cloudy spots on your dishes. Water that smells like chlorine or tastes metallic. Your water heater isn’t lasting as long as it should, and you’re spending money on bottled water because you don’t trust what’s coming out of the tap.
A whole house water filter handles all of it at the source. Multi-stage sediment filtration removes particles and debris before they reach your plumbing. Whole home carbon filters knock out chlorine, chemicals, and the taste issues that make you second-guess every glass. If you’ve got hard water—and in Golden Glades, you probably do—a water softener combination protects your pipes, your appliances, and your skin from the minerals that cause buildup and irritation.
This isn’t just about cleaner water. It’s about appliances that last longer, plumbing that doesn’t clog, and shower doors that stay clear. It’s about not having to think twice before filling a cup from the sink.
We’re A-rated by the Better Business Bureau with a 5-star rating and zero complaints. We’re members of the National Water Quality Association, and we’ve been installing and servicing water treatment systems across Central Florida for over five decades.
We don’t subcontract installs. Our technicians do the work, and they know how to handle Florida’s water conditions—because they’ve seen it all. Golden Glades gets its water from underground aquifers, which means you’re dealing with minerals, metals, and contaminants that standard filters can’t always handle. We test your water, design a system around what’s actually in it, and install it right the first time.
We also service what we sell. That’s not a given in this industry, but it should be.
First, we test your water. Not a guess, not a generic recommendation—we analyze what’s coming into your home so we know exactly what needs to be filtered out.
Then we design a custom point-of-entry system based on your water quality and household usage. That might mean a multi-stage sediment filter to catch particles, a carbon filter to remove chlorine and chemicals, a water softener to handle hardness, or a combination of all three. If you’ve got iron or manganese staining your sinks and toilets, we add an iron removal tank. If sulfur is giving your water that rotten egg smell, we address that too.
Installation takes three to five hours on average, depending on where your main water line enters and where the system will sit. We connect everything at the point of entry so every faucet, every shower, every appliance gets filtered water. Once it’s in, the system uses filter media backwashing to clean itself and maintain performance over time.
You’re not dealing with a one-size-fits-all setup. You’re getting a system built for your water and your home.

Your system includes everything needed to treat your specific water issues. Multi-stage sediment filtration handles dirt, rust, and particles. Whole home carbon filters remove chlorine, chloramines, pesticides, and the chemicals that affect taste and smell. If hard water is damaging your appliances or leaving spots on your dishes, a water softener combination eliminates calcium and magnesium before they cause problems.
In Golden Glades, we see a lot of iron and manganese in the water—those reddish-brown or black stains that show up in sinks, toilets, and laundry. We handle that with dedicated filtration media. We also see sulfur, which gives water that unmistakable rotten egg odor. Both are fixable with the right setup.
Installation includes the system itself, all necessary piping and materials, and professional setup by our technicians—not a third party. We don’t quote you for labor and then surprise you with material costs. You get a full price upfront. After installation, we walk you through maintenance, which typically means replacing filters once or twice a year depending on your usage and water quality.
We also offer a $500 discount for military members and first responders, because that’s who we are.
Most whole house water filter systems in Florida run between $1,500 and $4,000, depending on what you’re filtering and how much water your household uses. A basic sediment and carbon filter setup costs less. A full point-of-entry system with a water softener, iron removal, and multi-stage filtration costs more.
Installation adds another $500 to $1,500, depending on your home’s plumbing layout and where the system gets installed. We don’t split that out to surprise you later—you get one price that includes the system, materials, and labor.
The real cost is what you’re already paying. Hard water shortens the lifespan of your water heater, dishwasher, and washing machine. Chlorine and chemicals mean you’re buying bottled water or dealing with skin irritation. A whole house system pays for itself in appliance protection and quality of life.
It depends on the system, but a properly designed point-of-entry filter handles the most common issues in Florida water. Sediment filters remove dirt, rust, and particles. Carbon filters eliminate chlorine, chloramines, pesticides, and volatile organic compounds that affect taste and smell.
If you’ve got hard water—which most of Golden Glades does—a water softener removes calcium and magnesium. Those are the minerals that cause scale buildup in pipes, water heaters, and on fixtures. Iron and manganese filters handle the metals that stain your sinks, toilets, and laundry. If your water smells like sulfur, we add media that targets hydrogen sulfide.
Florida’s aquifers can also carry nitrates, lead, and other contaminants depending on your area. That’s why we test first. We’re not guessing what’s in your water—we’re measuring it and building a system that actually addresses what’s there.
The system itself can last 10 to 20 years or more if it’s maintained. The filter media inside needs to be replaced on a schedule that depends on your water quality and usage. Carbon filters typically need replacement every 6 to 12 months. Sediment filters might last a year or longer if your water isn’t heavily contaminated.
Water softener resin can last 10 to 15 years, though you’ll need to add salt regularly if you’re using a salt-based system. Iron and sulfur filters need media replacement every few years, depending on concentration levels.
We don’t sell you a system and disappear. We service everything we install, and we can service other brands too. Regular maintenance keeps your system running efficiently and ensures you’re actually getting the filtration you paid for. Most homeowners spend $50 to $300 a year on replacement filters, which is a lot less than replacing a water heater or dealing with plumbing repairs caused by hard water.
If you’ve got hard water, yes. And in Golden Glades, hard water is common. You’ll know you have it if you see white buildup on faucets and showerheads, cloudy spots on dishes, or stiff laundry. Hard water also reduces the efficiency of your water heater and can shorten the lifespan of any appliance that uses water.
A whole house carbon filter removes chlorine, chemicals, and contaminants that affect taste and safety. A water softener removes the minerals—calcium and magnesium—that cause hardness. They do different jobs, and most homes in Florida benefit from both.
We test your water first, so we’re not guessing. If your hardness level is high, we recommend a water softener combination with your filtration system. If it’s not an issue, we won’t sell you something you don’t need. The goal is a system that actually solves your problems, not one that checks boxes.
Most installations take three to five hours, depending on your home’s layout and where your main water line enters. If the install is straightforward—easy access to the main line, enough space for the system, no major plumbing modifications—it’s closer to three hours. If we’re working in a tight space or need to reroute piping, it can take longer.
We install at the point of entry, which means the system treats all the water coming into your home before it reaches any faucet, shower, or appliance. That’s the difference between a whole house system and an under-sink filter—you’re protecting everything, not just one tap.
Our technicians handle the entire install. We don’t subcontract the work, and we don’t leave you with a half-finished job. Once it’s in and running, we walk you through how the system works, what maintenance looks like, and how to reach us if you need service.
