You stop scrubbing rust stains off your toilets and sinks every week. The rotten egg smell disappears completely, so you’re not embarrassed when people come over. Your appliances last longer because they’re not getting destroyed by mineral buildup and corrosion.
Your laundry comes out clean instead of dingy. You’re not buying bottled water anymore because what comes out of your tap is safe and tastes normal. Your water heater isn’t failing early from sediment and bacteria eating away at the tank.
That’s what proper well water filtration does. It removes the iron, eliminates the hydrogen sulfide causing the smell, and kills the bacteria that clogs your system. You get water that doesn’t cost you extra money in damage, cleaning supplies, or constant frustration.
We have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and five stars with zero complaints. We’re members of the National Water Quality Association, which means we’re held to actual industry standards, not just making claims.
We’ve been installing and servicing water treatment systems across Central Florida for over 50 years. Ocklawaha’s rural area means most homes are on well water, and the limestone aquifer here creates specific problems with sulfur, iron bacteria, and mineral content. We know what we’re dealing with because we’ve seen it hundreds of times.
We’re not a national company that sells you something and disappears. We service what we install, and we service other brands too. If you’re military or a first responder, we give you $500 off because that matters to us.
First, we test your water to see exactly what’s in it. Iron, sulfur, bacteria, pH levels, hardness—we need to know what we’re treating because the wrong system won’t fix your problem.
Based on those results, we recommend a system that matches your specific water issues. If you’ve got hydrogen sulfide, we might use air injection oxidation or hydrogen peroxide injection to eliminate it. For iron removal, we use oxidation systems that convert dissolved iron into particles we can filter out. If bacteria is the issue, UV disinfection kills it without chemicals.
We install the system at your pressure tank or point of entry so every faucet in your house gets treated water. The installation is clean—we’re not leaving a mess in your garage or utility room. Once it’s running, we walk you through how it works and what basic maintenance looks like.
Most systems need a filter change once or twice a year depending on your water quality and usage. We handle that, or you can do it yourself if you want. Either way, you’re not dealing with a complicated system that breaks down constantly.
Ready to get started?
You get a whole-house filtration system designed specifically for the well water problems common in Ocklawaha and Lake County. That means every shower, every load of laundry, every glass of water is treated—not just one faucet.
For iron removal, we use multi-stage filtration that handles both clear water iron and the kind that’s already oxidized and turning your water orange. For sulfur, we use oxidation methods like air injection or hydrogen peroxide injection that eliminate the gas before it ever reaches your faucets. If your well tested positive for coliform or other bacteria, we install UV systems that disinfect without adding chemicals to your water.
The systems are built to handle Florida’s high mineral content and warm climate that accelerates bacterial growth. You’re not getting a one-size-fits-all setup that works in Minnesota but fails here. We’re installing equipment rated for the conditions you actually have.
You also get professional service after installation. If something needs adjustment or maintenance, we’re local and we show up. That’s the difference between us and the national companies that sell systems but don’t service them.
If your water smells like rotten eggs, that’s hydrogen sulfide gas and you need treatment. If you see orange or brown stains on your sinks, toilets, or laundry, that’s iron and it’s also damaging your plumbing and appliances.
Slime in your toilet tank or a metallic taste means you likely have iron bacteria, which will clog your system over time if you don’t treat it. If your well tested positive for coliform bacteria or E. coli, you need disinfection immediately because that’s a health risk.
Even if your water looks clear, it can still have dissolved iron that oxidizes when it hits air, causing staining and buildup. The only way to know for sure what’s in your water is to test it. We do that first so you’re not guessing or buying the wrong equipment.
Air injection oxidation pulls oxygen into your water to convert hydrogen sulfide gas and dissolved iron into particles that get filtered out. It’s effective, doesn’t use chemicals, and works well for moderate sulfur and iron levels. The system needs a bit of maintenance to keep the air pump and media working right.
Hydrogen peroxide injection adds a small amount of peroxide to oxidize sulfur and iron, then filters it out. It handles higher contamination levels better than air injection and works faster. You’ll need to refill the peroxide tank periodically, but it’s not complicated.
Which one you need depends on your water test results. If your sulfur levels are low to moderate and you want a chemical-free option, air injection works. If you’ve got heavy contamination or iron bacteria, hydrogen peroxide is usually the better choice. We’ll recommend the right one after we see your water quality.
Whole-house systems typically range from a few thousand dollars to more depending on what you’re treating and the size of your home. Iron and sulfur removal systems are less expensive than multi-stage setups that also handle bacteria, hardness, and other contaminants.
The system usually pays for itself in two to three years. You’re saving money on cleaning products, reducing detergent use because your water isn’t fighting you, and extending the life of your appliances. Water heaters last longer when they’re not corroding from the inside. Washing machines and dishwashers don’t break down as fast.
You’re also not replacing stained fixtures or repainting walls where rust has bled through. If you’re buying bottled water because your tap water is undrinkable, that expense disappears completely. The return on investment is real, not just a sales pitch.
No. A water softener removes hardness minerals like calcium and magnesium, but it’s not designed to handle iron, sulfur, or bacteria. If you run water with high iron through a standard softener, you’ll foul the resin bed and the system will stop working properly.
Some people try to use a softener for clear water iron, and it might help temporarily, but it’s not a real solution. The iron will eventually damage the softener, and you’ll still have staining and buildup issues. Softeners definitely don’t remove hydrogen sulfide or kill bacteria.
You need an oxidation and filtration system specifically designed for iron removal and sulfur treatment. In some cases, you might need both a treatment system and a softener if your water is also hard, but the treatment system has to come first in the line. We’ll set it up correctly so each system does what it’s supposed to do.
Most systems need a filter change once or twice a year depending on your water quality and how much water you use. If you’ve got heavy iron or bacteria, you might need more frequent changes. The filter media in oxidation systems typically lasts several years before it needs replacement.
UV systems need a bulb replacement annually because the UV light loses effectiveness over time even if it still looks like it’s working. If you have a hydrogen peroxide injection system, you’ll need to refill the peroxide tank every few months depending on usage.
We can handle all the maintenance for you, or we can show you how to do basic filter changes yourself if you prefer. Either way, it’s not complicated or time-consuming. The key is staying on schedule so the system keeps working properly and you’re not back to dealing with staining and odors.
