You stop buying bottled water. Your fixtures stay clean instead of stained orange. Your clothes come out of the wash looking like they should.
The rotten egg smell disappears. Your appliances last longer because they’re not fighting mineral buildup every day. You stop second-guessing whether the water is safe for your kids to drink.
That’s what happens when well water filtration is done right. Not just a filter under the sink or a pitcher you have to refill. A system designed around what’s actually in your water, treating every drop before it reaches a single faucet.
Most Maitland well water sits between 150 and 250 parts per million for hardness. Add iron and hydrogen sulfide to that, and you’ve got water that’s working against your home. The right system handles all of it without you thinking about it twice.
We have an A rating with the Better Business Bureau and a 5-star rating with zero complaints. We’re members of the National Water Quality Association, which means we follow actual standards, not just sales scripts.
We’ve been treating Florida well water for over five decades. We know what’s in Maitland wells because we’ve tested hundreds of them. We know which systems hold up and which ones create more problems than they solve.
You’re not getting a one-size-fits-all setup. You’re getting a system based on a free water analysis of your actual well water, installed by people who do this full-time, and backed by a company that’ll still be here when you need service.
It starts with testing your water. Not a guess, not a generic recommendation. We come to your home in Maitland, pull a sample, and analyze what’s actually in your well water.
From there, we design a system that addresses your specific issues. If you’ve got iron, we’re likely looking at an air injection oxidation system or hydrogen peroxide injection to convert it into something a filter can catch. If hydrogen sulfide is the problem, we treat that at the source so the smell doesn’t come back. Bacteria gets handled with UV disinfection that doesn’t rely on chemicals.
Once the system’s designed, we install it and walk you through how it works. You’ll know when to expect maintenance, what to watch for, and how to reach us if something feels off. Then you just use your water like normal, and the system does what it’s supposed to do in the background.

A whole-house well water filtration system treats everything before it splits off to your kitchen, bathrooms, laundry, and outdoor spigots. That means every drop is filtered, softened, or disinfected depending on what your water needs.
Iron removal systems use either air injection oxidation or hydrogen peroxide injection to eliminate staining and metallic taste. Hydrogen sulfide treatment gets rid of that sulfur smell for good. If your water has bacteria, a UV system disinfects without adding chemicals or changing the taste.
Hard water gets handled too, either with a traditional softener or a salt-free conditioner if you’d rather not deal with salt. The difference in Maitland is that most homes need a combination approach because well water here rarely has just one issue.
You’ll also get ongoing service. Filters need changing, UV bulbs need replacing, and systems need occasional adjustments. We handle all of that, and we service systems from other brands too if you’ve already got something installed that’s not working right.
You need a water test. Not the kind you buy at a hardware store, but a full analysis that checks for iron, hardness, pH, hydrogen sulfide, bacteria, and total dissolved solids.
We do that for free when you call us out. We’ll test on-site and send a sample to a lab if needed. You’ll get a breakdown of what’s in your water and what levels you’re dealing with.
From there, the solution becomes pretty clear. If you’ve got 3 ppm of iron, you need an iron removal system. If hydrogen sulfide is above 0.5 ppm, you’re smelling it, and we’ll recommend treatment for that. The test tells us what to fix, and we design the system around those results.
Both methods oxidize iron so a filter can catch it, but they work differently. Air injection oxidation pulls oxygen into the water, converts dissolved iron into particles, then filters it out. It’s reliable, doesn’t use chemicals, and works well for iron levels up to about 10 ppm.
Hydrogen peroxide injection uses a small pump to add peroxide to the water line. It oxidizes iron faster and handles higher levels, plus it helps with sulfur and bacteria at the same time. It does require refilling a peroxide tank every few months.
Which one you need depends on your iron levels, whether you’ve got other contaminants, and how much maintenance you want to deal with. We’ll recommend the one that makes sense for your situation after we see your water test.
Yes, but it depends on the concentration and what’s causing it. If you’ve got hydrogen sulfide gas in your water, you’ll smell rotten eggs every time you turn on a faucet. That needs to be oxidized and filtered out before it reaches your house.
We typically use hydrogen peroxide injection or an air injection system to treat hydrogen sulfide. Both convert the gas into sulfur particles that get caught by a filter. If the smell is only in your hot water, that’s usually bacteria in your water heater, which is a different fix.
The treatment works. You won’t smell it anymore, and you won’t have that metallic aftertaste either. We’ve handled sulfur problems in Maitland wells for years, and the systems we install take care of it at the source.
Clear water doesn’t mean safe water. Bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms are invisible, and they show up in well water more often than most people think. If your well is shallow, near a septic system, or if you’ve had flooding in the area, the risk goes up.
UV disinfection kills 99.9% of waterborne organisms without adding chemicals or changing the taste of your water. It’s a light that sits in your water line and zaps anything that passes through. No filters to change for the disinfection part, just a bulb replacement once a year.
If your water test shows any bacteria, UV is non-negotiable. Even if it doesn’t, a lot of Maitland homeowners add it as a safeguard. It’s cheap insurance compared to what happens if someone gets sick from contaminated well water.
It depends on what your water needs. A basic iron removal system might run a few thousand dollars. A full setup with iron removal, hydrogen sulfide treatment, water softening, and UV disinfection will cost more, sometimes significantly more depending on the equipment and installation complexity.
The range is wide because every well is different. Your water might only need one treatment, or it might need four. The size of your home matters too, because flow rate affects which equipment we use.
What matters more than the upfront cost is whether the system actually works and whether it’ll still be working in five years. Cheap systems break, underperform, or need constant maintenance. We design systems that last and back them up with real service. You’ll get an exact price after we test your water and know what we’re dealing with.
